We are on the lookout for a Senior Engineer, Golang - to join Platform Compliance Engineering Squad of the AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) Tribe on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. 

About the AAA Tribe

AAA focuses on solving problems engineers face globally such as secure, efficient, and compliant access that is heavily used by tens of millions of customers, riders, vendors all around the world. 

As a member of the AAA Team within Tech Foundations vertical, you’ll support Delivery Hero’s rapid innovation and growth. You’ll work on foundational systems that enable faster feature development, security, and reliability across our global engineering community. Every enhancement you make will contribute to our teams' ability to build, scale, and deliver quality features—ultimately impacting millions of users worldwide.

Currently the tribe’s focus includes the Authentication (OAuth2) service and the Identity provider system, user to service and service to service authorization and GDPR compliance and governance related topics. 

In this team you will:

• Take part in architectural decision making on a platform that is used by millions of people.

• Playing an active role in designing, improving and most importantly securing the overall backend architecture to support massive growth in users and products without compromise.

• Collaborate with cross-functional and international agile teams on helping them establish a security mindset for backend applications with topics like OWASP 10. 

• Embrace Design Driven Development, SOLID Principles, Hexagonal and Event-driven Architecture, Algorithms and automated tests (unit, integration and functional).

• Understand development lifecycle and collaborating with cross-functional and international agile teams. 

What you need to be successful 

• Production experience in Golang

• Familiar with common monitoring / alerting / logging tools such as Prometheus, New Relic, Datadog, ELK stack, distributed tracing.

• You’ve built complex, high-quality applications, and have a strong knowledge of Domain Driven Design and microservice architecture with kubernetes.

• You’re proficient in selecting from best practice Design Patterns and Design Principles when  building your Software Architectures and Algorithms

• Good knowledge of databases (SQL and noSQL). (You should be aware of normal forms, ACID, isolation levels, index anatomy).

• Flexible and open-minded personality and comfortable working in a multicultural environment and in English. 
   

Nice to have: 

• Experience in the AAA domain (Authentication/Authorization and Accounting)

• Experience in SaaS companies

• Experience in building, maintaining, and running a high traffic system in a microservice environment with kubernetes.

• Experience in maintaining a solution that has multi regional setup with very high SLA (99.99 or above)
